Dosas are the surprise here, six of them, from lamb and chicken to channa, garlic mushroom and an Abids Special, tucked inside a menu that otherwise reads as a Scottish takeaway. The chef's speciality grid is enormous: more than forty sauces applied across chicken tikka, lamb, king prawn and vegetable, taking in Gurkha Royale, Nentara, Kali Mirchi, Kata Kat, Jalendari, Pardesi, Chandni and Dhilbar Korma. Pizzas come in four sizes with local and regional names, among them Glaswegian, Istanbulian, Desi Style, Jaipuri Style and Mexican Volcano, while hoggies are configurable across plain, garlic, sweet and cheese naan. There is also a run of garlic naans topped with curry and cheese, and a long list of sharing boxes with names lifted from films and cartoons: Avengers, Bumblebee, Dragon, Boom Boom and a Dalry Box in three sizes.
