Dundee Rancho Pancho

Rancho Pancho occupies one of the larger restaurant rooms on Commercial Street, the broad pedestrianised cut that runs north from the City Square and Caird Hall block toward the Wellgate. It's a sit-down Mexican and Tex-Mex bar and restaurant — closer to a destination evening venue than a takeaway — with a long-running local profile, regularly reviewed by The Courier and listed on Visit Dundee's eat-and-drink pages. The menu sits in familiar Tex-Mex territory: loaded potato skins, fajitas, enchiladas, tacos and burritos with vegetarian and vegan versions of most lines, with steak, salmon and chicken plates filling out the mains and a Mexican-beer and frozen-cocktail list driving the bar trade. It trades Tuesday-to-Saturday evenings with a Saturday lunch service, and closes Sunday and Monday — a pattern that fits a restaurant rather than a late-night takeaway.
