About Kamoon Kitchen
Kamoon Kitchen brought authentic Lebanese cooking to Bridge of Don when it opened in 2015, and it still bills itself as the first Lebanese kitchen and takeaway in Aberdeen. Run by a team of passionate bakers and cooks, the fully halal kitchen hand-makes its pastries and leans on fresh herbs, grains and grilled meats rather than the usual fried-takeaway formula. The result is food that regulars repeatedly describe as fresh, healthy and great value, served with quick, friendly service.
The menu runs from cold and hot meze through hand-rolled fatayer pastries to char-grilled mains, with the mixed grill and falafel wrap among the most-recommended orders and bright salads like fattoush and tabbouleh alongside. There are plenty of vegetarian choices, and even stone-baked pizzas for less adventurous diners. It holds a Food Hygiene 'Pass' and a strong Tripadvisor standing, ranked around #33 of nearly 800 Aberdeen restaurants from more than 200 reviews. For something a little different in the north of the city, it is a genuine local favourite.
