Goulash Hungarian Restaurant

Goulash on Adelphi Lane in central Aberdeen — the only Hungarian restaurant north of the border in Scotland — has been serving authentic Hungarian cuisine since 1994, evolved from a small country cottage shop into a stunning restaurant in a historic building in the heart of Aberdeen. Chef Maria Simonne leads the kitchen. The restaurant is bookable through OpenTable, listed on Tripadvisor 2026 and on Airial.travel's "Best of TikTok / Instagram / Reddit Food Guide 2025".

The menu features goulash variations (pork, beef and vegetarian), onion cream soup, chicken paprikash and roast wild boar, alongside Hungarian wines and spirits. Service Tue-Fri 6pm-10pm, Sat noon-11pm and Sun noon-10pm; closed Mon. Reservations recommended.
