The Ashvale Fish Restaurant

The Ashvale is an Aberdeen institution — one of the city's best-known fish-and-chip restaurants with multiple branches across the area. The Bridge of Don shop offers eat-in and takeaway (no delivery), is FSA-registered and features in the Press & Journal's "Top 7 chippers" round-ups for north-east Scotland.

Beyond the standard fish supper, the menu spans skate, rock turbot, lemon sole, salmon, fish cakes, burgers, chicken and steaks. The branch is particularly child-friendly — children's menus, a free drink and toy for take-aways, and under-fives eat free in the restaurant.
